this is announcement journal! where i announce things! and today, that thing is a wondrous little game called echo bazaar.
it's an absolutely free game (with some of those we'll-make-the-game-easier-if-you-pay-us things) about the city of fallen london. it's a world where you start at the bottom of the social ladder and claw your way up through trickery, cunning and violence.
Why am i telling you all about it? well, for starters, because everyone should try it. also, i'd like to know some of the people playing it! so go!

who are you?
It doesn't really get better, it gets different. 200 strips or so focusing on the little details and mechanics of the universe, and as it goes on it focuses less and less on those and more on the actual plot. which is quite convoluted and interesting. it's up to you whether that's good or not.
Good, I've been tutoring up at the college, going to try to graduate and get out of there as quickly as possible... it'll take me two years unless I do something drastic. Prolly going to end up taking a lot of classes with your dad
Got me a drawing tablet and wasted a bunch of time derping around with that
MUAHAHAHAHAA *too late I'm already halfway through*... although, I could probably transfer ~90% of my credits--some programs are all the same everywhere... I'm getting the hell outa here for graduate school but I really don't think it matters undergrad unless you're learning a specific trade, like you're doing.
Oh hey autoCAD that's pretty much the only advanced software my dad is capable of using cuz they made him draw maps and stuff in it at his work.
He worked for the Forest Service as a surveyor for 20 years. They kind of screwed him over after he broke his back(literally) working for them, though. I already make more money than him.
Oh hey, have you seen the pony platformer project? haha
Still in development but I thought some of the features and the boss battle were kind of cool. Can currently play as Applejack or Rarity.
Some of the features are still tied to keyboard shortcuts for testing...
